Children’s hospital and residential areas hit in latest bombardment of capital and surrounding region

A heavy Russian bombardment has killed at least 12 people in Ukraine’s capital and its surrounding region overnight, authorities have said.

A missile attack on Kyiv struck residential areas and warehouses, said the mayor, Vitali Klitschko. The attack damaged residential buildings, a medical facility and an educational institution and killed 12 people and wouned 33, he said.
