Dutch cyclist crosses finish line clear of Kasia Niewiadoma
Vollering adds to her 2023 Tour de France Femmes success
The Dutch rider Demi Vollering won the Women’s Tour de France for the second time after riding to victory in Sunday’s ninth and final stage to extend her winning margin.
The 2023 champion raised her bike in the air moments after crossing the finish line in Nice well clear of Polish rider Kasia Niewiadoma, the 2024 champion. She started Sunday’s stage eight seconds behind Vollering, who earned a time bonus for winning the stage.
